Captain Ed

Captain Ed is a lifelong mariner with over 50 years of sailing experience across the East and West Coasts of the United States and the Bahamas. From motorboats to sailboats and even public cruise vessels, his breadth of knowledge is unmatched. As a United States Coast Guard licensed captain (50 ton, with a 100 ton license coming soon) and a certified CPR and First Aid provider, safety and skill are at the core of his work.

Captain Ed has taught and coached sailing for decades, delivered boats from the Bahamas to Massachusetts, and is passionate about sharing his expertise with both new and seasoned sailors. Based in Ipswich, MA and always ready to travel, Captain Ed brings trustworthy care and dedication to every lesson, build, boat and person he works with.
